To learn
It costs so much
to learn

It is not in coin
but in suffering
It is not in currency
but in pain

For to learn is to see
the failures that echo still
the turns that had gone wrong
the might have beens if only

the cost is too much
So though where is now
is a place I should not be
is a place I can not be

to reach to what beyond

To learn what is
to learn what might be
To learn who I am
to learn who I may be

The cost is too much
yet there be cost
