infinite void
expands before me
nothing on which to stand

illusions shimmer ahead
and spread infinitely into a world

waves of nothing fill through time
and surround
it is illusion
this world that I have made

there is what is
and there is the is that is in my head
it is all illusion

of what have I not fooled myself before
I walk on nothing

each time I see
and think I know
only to find that I do not

and yet each time I see
and know that I know not
I then might start to learn

to know this
and to yet still walk on
to walk on nothing

and for them you cry

Before you stands one in need
and for them you would give all

you would remove affliction of the world

but who can solve struggle
who can make the world not as is
who themselves would expect so much

and what can be done
